MBRAUN Sublimation Tool for Refining Organic Materials

The MBRAUN vacuum sublimation unit is an integrated system for refining organic materials to be used in OLED / PLED, organic lighting, organic photovoltaic and organic electronics applications. The sublimation and the subsequent crystallization process significantly improves the electronic properties of the materials and their lifetimes.

Getting rid of residual of synthesis, catalysts, precursors, fragments, solvents, water and oxygen the performance of the device is improved because of higher quantum efficiency, higher charge carrier mobility and lower degradation in time.

With a fractionated vaporization followed by a precisely controlled re-crystallization a perfect starting material is generated. MBRAUN offers manually and automatically operated systems with a capacity between 5-1000 g of raw material. The systems are integrated in a MBRAUN glovebox to avoid contamination of the refined materials with oxygen and moisture. In combination with an evaporation system integrated in the same glovebox line the loading of the organic evaporation sources is very convenient and without any contamination problems.
